Slalom D - I Choose My Own Way To Burn CD **PRE-ORDER**

SLALOM D come from the ship-building, industrial heartland of the North-East, Sunderland. A city also known for it’s immense punk scene and working class, creative culture. Named after a now defunct brand of strong lager infamous amongst local punks they project a forward-looking punk sound, combining innovative melodies, raw power and a fearless exploration of contemporary social issues.

Formed in 2017 they earned an honest and loyal following and two years of solid gigging cemented them in the local scene as the band to watch. A promising future was derailed when founder member and singer, Craig MacBeth died suddenly and unexpectedly and left the band contemplating a plan B none of them had foreseen.
Slalom D are now Tony Lindstedt, Fe Duncan, Iain Murray, Antony Bircham and Lisa Lindstedt and they’re ready to launch they third album “I Choose My Own Way To Burn” on Serial Bowl Records, in September 2026. The songs from “ICMOWTB” follows the ‘D’s tradition of local stories, societal soap operas and tales from the punk crypt. This album is a culmination of everthing the band lives and breathes for, authentic experiences, played with heart and belief.
Having played the main stage at Rebellion and countless festivals Slalom D are now on mission to bring their melodious messages further afield, gigging from Glasgow to Brighton, and beyond, in the near future. They are and always will be
rhythmic, catchy, with a contemporary political edge and a passionate lyrical stance that, true to its North-East roots, agitates and unsettles. Prepare for accessible discordance.
